LENOIR - Fire officials in Caldwell County said a morning fire at a furniture manufacturing facility was sparked by dust.
Fire crews were called to Crown Heritage at the intersection of Clover Drive Southwest and Highway 321 in Lenoir around 10:30 a.m.
According to the Lenoir Fire Department, the fire started in the dust handling system.
From WBTV Sky 3, heavy flames were seen coming from an external collection unit.
About 20 employees were at the plant at the time. Everyone was evacuated safely and no injures were reported.
No word yet on the when the plant will resume operations.
